Exceedingly rare pair of chairs. Designed by Danish Architect, Henning Larsen for Copenhagen's KAR cafe in 1967.
This set produced in the 1980s by Fritz Hansen. Chrome plated steel with original vinyl seat. Find another pair! £350 each
A Design 'Classic' is a term that's often bandied about, but in this case, it truly applies. A matched pair of these wonderfully comfortable sofas, at aridiculously cheap prices. The smaller is 166cm x 86cm and the larger 190cm x 86cm. Thesofa backs fold up, indendently using a built-in stiff spring to provide a headrest, for added comfort. The fabric is in good condition and will be professionally steam cleaned prior to sale. It's a very pleasant neutral grey/brown shade, and the quality, as you would expect from Cassina, is very good indeed. They are relatively recent editions.True deign classics at almost a tenth of the price new! The larger sofa is £SOLD, the smaller £SOLD.
Super, useful 'tulip' coffee table. After the design by Eero Saarinen, this one produced in the UK in the 1970s, most likely in either Bath or Dundee. Very good vintage condition, with only slightest yellowing to the base. Very heavy! Dining table and four chairs also available. £135.
A very high end lounge chair and footstool from a well respected British company. The leather is nicely worn, but still supple. It has 'Executive' written all over it.
A lot of comfort for just £550 the pair.
Delighful, compact sewing/knitting/craft trolley. Teak finished, thetop drawer slides out either side of the trolley, providing storage for needles, thread etc.. Very nice vintage condition, a few dints and scrapes. £RESERVED
A lovely Lena Larsson designed rocking chair. This one, the slightly lower backed version. Lovely sweep to the arms.Extremely comfortable (with a cushion!). ~Original condition, with loss of paint and wear. It could be resprayed, but I wouldn't, personally. Made in Sweden by Nesto. £345
Designed by Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby, the designers of the gorgeous 2012 Olympic torch.
The chairs are designed to rock forward, as you lean forward, and yet remain stable and comfortable. Very good for the spine! .Every school and office in the country should have these wonderful chairs.
This set of 4 is in good used condition, with some wear. Colour - Poppy Red. About a third of the new price- £295 for 4.
One of my favourite Rocking chairs. Look at those curved arms!Designed in 1958 by Danish designer Illum Wikkelso, and produced in Denmark by Niels Eilersen. This one has been well used, but is in completely original finish. I think it would be a shame to overpaint all that lovely, honest wear, that only years of use can achieve. I have a second one, which I do intend to respray. This one is £350.
Ebonised Stick-back rocking chair which has been recovered with Lucienne Day ' Riga' fabric. Complete with original head cushion. Looks to have been recently refinished to a good standard. A few scuffs and scratches, but generally very good. Lovely rocker. £295
